When you volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House, you become a part of a community the cares for families with critically ill children, helping them be together when they need it the most.
The Ronald McDonald House receives support from a strong foundation of volunteers. Volunteers help to maintain a safe, clean, friendly environment in which families can recharge while remaining close to their sick child. Your acts of love and kindness make this House more than just a place to stay, they make it a home away from home.

House Volunteers
From answering phones to organizing and light cleaning, there are endless possibilities for House Volunteers. Volunteer shifts are scheduled for three-hours shifts once a week or once every other week on a regular basis.
Meals that Heal
After a long day at the hospital, families look forward to the comforts of a home-cooked meal. You can give families more moments together by preparing a meal. This is great for team-building with coworkers, school groups, church, or civic groups.
Family Room & Happy Wheels
The Happy Wheels cart and Ronald McDonald House Family Room provides a moment of relief, joy, and comfort without leaving the hospital. Both programs are available to children receiving treatment at CAMC Women & Children’s Hospital and their families.
