Offering support to the whole family when their child is seriously ill.
Offering support to the whole family when their child is seriously ill.
When families face a challenging medical diagnosis, they need support from the ones they love. Ronald McDonald House staff, volunteers and other families help create a community of support and care so families with hospitalized children don’t have to face their challenges alone.
Each family has a private bedroom for the duration of their stay.
Caring volunteers prepare meals weekly and access to a fully stocked pantry of ready to make meals and snack food.
Our littlest guests have access to a playroom and playground equipment.
Our House offers a private laundry room for your use anytime.
Families traveling far from home call Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern West Virginia “home” while their children receive medical care at an area hospital. We work closely with our hospital partners to provide families with a comfortable and caring place to stay for as long as they need us.
Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
