Why Should I Help Ronald McDonald House Families?
Families traveling to a hospital far from home need the same rest and comfort they would receive at home. The Ronald McDonald House offers families a comfortable place to rest and the support they need to care for their sick children. Having a well-stocked House reduces the financial stress for families to purchase food, laundry services, and other necessities while eliminating the need to travel home and remain close to their hospitalized children.
How You Can Help
Donation Drive
We rely on household staples such as food, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and so much more to give families and sick children traveling to the area the simple comforts of home close to the hospital. Organize a donation drive with your friends, family, church, school, or civic organization by purchasing items from our wish list!
The experience here has been exceptional. The staff could not have been more helpful. Staying here was very important to us because it took away a lot of the financial stress and provided a safe and friendly environment while our baby was in the NICU.
Cater a Meal
Families staying at the Ronald McDonald House spend long hours caring for their children at an area hospital. Through our Meals that Heal program, volunteers provide catered meals from local restaurants for families, allowing them to spend more time together, without the stress of cooking or the expense of dining out.
Schedule your group for a date and time that works best for you. Meals that Heal volunteers cater meals 365 days a year and serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner. View our meal calendar to check availability. Dates marked BUSY are unavailable.
