Meals that Heal

Help families spend less time cooking and more time together.

Families staying at a Ronald McDonald House spend long hours caring for their children at an area hospital. Through our Meals that Heal program, volunteers cook meals at the Ronald McDonald House for families, allowing them to spend more time together, without the stress of cooking or the expense of dining out.

How Do I Prepare a Meal for RMHC Families?

Prep Your Meal

Gather your friends, family, or co-workers and plan out your meal. Please bring all necessary food items you will need to prepare your meal. Have a question about what food we have in stock, or what kitchen gadgets we have? Give us a call at (304) 346-0279.

Create Meal Kits

One thing families love while staying at a Ronald McDonald House is not having to worry about menu-planning or ordering delivery while caring for their children at an area hospital. Volunteer-created meal kits provide families with a satisfying meal after long hours of tests and treatments. Use the menu ideas to pick a meal kit option that will give our guest families the comforts of home during their time of need.
